Dr. Lee Asks some important questions of interest to Conway residents - Chiropractor Conway Dr. Lee Asks...

Why are some people allergic to pollen and others aren't?
It's not the pollen. Chiropractors know that if it were, everyone would be allergic to pollen, nuts and pet dander. But that's not the case. It's the person, not the pollen! If you live in Conway and your stress levels are high, then each year the grass, the trees or the weeds put your nervous system over the top. Many report that chiropractic care helps reduce the frequency and severity of their allergic response.
Is a muscle spasm a cause or an effect?
With the knee-jerk use of muscle relaxers, you'd think it was a cause. But it's an effect. Chiropractors know that bones don't move unless muscles move them. And muscles don't contract unless commanded by the nervous system. That's why your nervous system is the focus of our Conway chiropractic practice.

Introducing Conway Chiropractor Dr. Lee Kelley

Dr. Lee Kelley

I grew up in Conway, South Carolina and in a Chiropractic family. You see, my father was a Chiropractor, as was his uncle, as well as a great cousin. You may say that it was fate that I too became a Chiropractor, and I am sure that my exposure to the amazing results produced by Chiropractic care persuaded me to follow in my father’s footsteps.

After completing my prerequisites at Coastal Carolina College here in Conway and graduation from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, I returned to South Carolina to practice with my father in 1990. My father retired seven years later and has since relocated to The Villages in Florida. Some of my postgraduate courses include: The American Red Cross Protect Your Back, Whiplash and Spinal Trauma, Disability and Impairment, Validating Chiropractic, Documenting the Scientific Basis of Clinical Practice, Assessment of Common Clinical Disorders, Accident Reconstruction, Restoring Musculoskeletal Integrity and Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner.

I reside in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina with my wife and three children and enjoy spending time with my family, going to the gym and participating in outdoor activities.
